The Philips Hue in wall switch is an easy to install way to control your lights with your voice, smartphone, or smart home assistant. With this switch, you can turn your lights on or off, set a schedule, or even set a scene. The best part is, you don’t need a Philips Hue bridge to use it – it works with any Philips Hue bulbs.

Here’s a quick guide to help you get started with your new Philips Hue in-wall light switch

Assuming you have a Philips Hue bridge and some bulbs setup and connected to the bridge, here’s how to get started with your new in-wall light switch.

To start, find a location for your new in-wall switch. It’s important to make sure there’s enough space around the switch so that you can easily access the switch and also so that the switch doesn’t protrude too much from the wall. Once you’ve found a good location, use the included template to mark the four screw holes.

Next, use a drill to create pilot holes for the screws. Once the pilot holes are created, screw in the mounting plate using the included screws.

Now, it’s time to wire the switch. Start by turning off the power to the circuit you’ll be working on. Once the power is off, remove the old switch (if there was one) nd then connect the black wire from the new switch to the black wire from the wall. Next, connect the white wire from the new switch to the white wire from the wall. Finally, connect the green wire from the new switch to the green wire from the wall.

Once the wires are all connected, carefully tuck the wires back into the wall and then screw the switch into the mounting plate. Once the switch is screwed in, turn on the power to the circuit and then press the button on the switch to power on your Philips Hue bulbs.

And that’s it! You’re now ready to start using your new Philips Hue in-wall light switch.
